Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) return in Dumb and Dumber 2 with even more outlandish antics and absurd misadventures. The story begins with the duo still living together in their hilariously dysfunctional way, but they’re forced into action when Harry discovers a long-lost letter revealing he fathered a child during a brief fling decades ago.
Eager to meet Harry’s child, Lloyd insists they go on a cross-country road trip. Their journey quickly spirals into chaos as they navigate a series of ridiculous obstacles, including mistaking a high-tech laboratory for a rest stop and accidentally stealing a priceless artifact. Meanwhile, Lloyd becomes infatuated with Harry’s child’s mother, creating a hilariously awkward dynamic.
As they finally reunite with Harry’s grown child, now a successful tech mogul, their visit inadvertently jeopardizes a major business deal.
