The story follows Ethan Blake (Chris Hemsworth), a seasoned but disillusioned ex-special forces operative who is reluctantly drawn back into action when his estranged wife, Sarah (Rebecca Ferguson), and their teenage daughter, Mia, are kidnapped by a ruthless international criminal syndicate.
