Expert bought car on Facebook Marketplace and made a haunting discovery after opening up the boot

It’s probably the last thing you’d ever want to find in the boot of a car

Edwin Evans and Will Chandler bought a 1970s rusty Cadillac Coupe de Ville off Facebook Marketplace for £2,900, but while clearing out the vehicle, they came across something pretty harrowing in the back of the car.

The experts shared a YouTube video on their channel, Top Dead Center, which they titled, ‘We bought the worst car on Facebook Marketplace’.

While at first, everything seemed pretty unremarkable, the pair began looking through various parts of the 8.2 litre engine car and assessing its condition.

“This car, is every movie car sound effect, the belt squeaking, the knocking, the doors not opening, even the sound of the doors,” said Chandler.

And when the pair came to look in the boot, what they found certainly seemed like something out of a film.

First off, the boot was filled with stuff – a lot of it junk – including spare parts, brake fluid and a tyre.

And tucked at the back of the boot was a ‘bag covered in blood’.

Picking up the plastic bag, Evans said: “Eugh what’s that? That’s blood and dust.”

The pair didn’t seem too fussed about it, and simply tossed the bag aside before returning to their video.

They then decide to take the rusty motor out for a spin on the road – but it didn’t go to plan.

“Before we carry on, this is a quick reminder that if you’re buying a used car you should always run a car vertical check,” said Chandler.

Evans continued: “Every single day hundreds of cars get crashed, most of them probably just from this car trying to make manoeuvre, but some of those crash cars get repaired and put back on the road.”

Evans and Chandler spent some time carrying out checks on the vehicle, before getting it out on the road themselves.

Although, it wasn’t long before they encountered some problems.

“I’ve never been more scared in a car in my life,” said Evans.

“There’s an issue with the brakes… emergency breaking is simply not happening.”

And after the pair almost pulled out of a junction in front of another driver, they screamed: “Sorry! My car is very long.”

On the way to the petrol station, the vehicle actually breaks down in the middle of a roundabout.

Eventually, after refuelling – and a quick trip to the garage – the car was back in action.

But, after trying to park the car, the pair encountered more problems, considering the Cadillac is 20ft long.

“This is one of the worst experiences of my life,” said Evans.
